It’s been a great week casting the very first Porn Star Tweet Movie! The interest and response from industry stars ranging from beginners to big name veterans has been amazing! Porno Dan, Jim Powers and the entire crew here at Naughty Tweet have been back and forth, round and round about who to include in this first feature. What we ended up deciding is that we need to do about 3 more movies just to include all the people we want to include – and if all goes as planned we will.

The amazing thing about Twitter and the Twitterati is the interactive response… This movie has truly proven that to be the true power of Twitter to reach the masses. After many discussions and script changes we announced the movie only Monday, in the following days we’ve been excited by the interest and the buzz it has generated. We sincerely, sincerely appreciate all the support and interest from within the industry in not only this movie but the Naughty Tweet network as a whole; truly awesome.

The movie goes into full production on Saturday and we’ll be leaning on the expert hand of Jim Powers and his editing team to turn out the type of work we have all become accustomed to from Jim, with a little bit of Porno Dan’s sick sense of humor mixed in. The script, which I won’t spoil, pokes fun at and really pays tribute to the Twitter phenomena.

So, yeah, yeah Alyss, shut up and tell us who the hell is in the movie!!

The, yet to be titled, movie will be available for sale at the upcoming Erotica LA at which PornStar Tweet is a media sponsor and will be exhibiting June 11-13.

“We threw the first ever PornStar TweetUp with PornoDan at Blue Moon Nights last month — while there someone asked me if people actually were having sex on Twitter — I responded, ‘That’s a lot of pressure in 140 characters!’ That lead to a spirited conversation about what that would look like and well here we are going into production”, says Pete Housley Naughty Tweet CEO. “The movie will be a bit tounge-in-cheek but we have the award winning Jim Powers involved so you know it’s just gonna kick ass — but it will stay true to the spirit of the Twitterati and we will ONLY use talent who are active on Twitter and PornStar Tweet!”

The Immoral Productions team will include Hall of Fame, Award Winning veteran Jim Powers as director and Dan Leal aka PornoDan in the producer seat. Immoral Productions and Naughty Tweet will partner on the production and distribution of the movie to retail market as well as VOD.

Porno Dan said, “I am a huge fan of Twitter. When we threw the First Ever Porn Star Tweet Up, we saw all these people that love to tweet meeting and hooking up at this party! I knew that we were onto to something special so I approached my business partner Jim Powers and said we have to show the World what is going with this TweetUp thing. Jim agreed and here we are making this movie with PornStar Tweet.”

The wide acclaimed Hall of Fame director Jim Powers added, “I know how pumped up Dan was after the PornStar TweetUp! I think he had sex with four or five girls at the event — If Dan and his little penis are getting that much action, imagine just how much sex is going through Twitter.”

The official DVD release party will be held on June 10, 2009 during the next PornStar TweetUp, details of the exclusive event will be made public over the coming weeks on www.pornstartweetup.com.

There has been much debate of late about the ability to “Verify” if a star listed on Twitter, MySpace, FaceBook or any other social media network is in fact the REAL person. There are a huge number of people in the world cyber-squatting, spamming or just playing like they’re famous people on these nearly uncontrolable networks. To aid in this process and actually to have some fun we’ve established a new “Verified Status” across our network — simply what this means is that we have personally verified by photo, video, personal conversation or some real/tangible means that the person is who they represent themselves to be! However, this is not to say that anyone without a “Verified” status is not who they claim to be, only that we have not directly verified their credentials.

What we won’t accept as evidence:
- Phone calls/texts from your manager, boyfriend, pimp, mom, sister or even you — unless we know you personally we can’t verify the phone number.
- References: We can only accept your word for who you are, another “Verified” star cannot vouch for you or anyone, even they can be duped.
